About Us

    Jymratt Basketball is a resource for coaches at all levels. I have over 43 years of coaching experience and have developed this site to give coaches access to resources, X’s and O’s, film, philosophy, book notes and general basketball thought.

    My career started as a high school coach in California, where I spent 15 years coaching at the Frosh, JV and Varsity levels.

    From high school, I spent the next 6 years as a college assistant coach at the Junior College, Division 2 and Division 1 level.

    From 2008-2016, I was the Director of Player Development for the Chicago Bulls and LA Clippers.

    For the past 5 seasons, I was a Pro Personnel Scout for the LA Clippers.

    I have over 40 years of experience as a clinician, working for Nike at their All-American Camp, All- Asia Camp, All-Filipino Camp, and Taiwan All-College Camp. Other experiences include the Jordan Flight School, Snow Valley Basketball School, and the Hawaii Elite Camp. My international experience also includes camps in Ireland, Norway, Puerto Rico and New Zealand.

    In addition, I have 5 years of experience with Attack Athletics, preparing college players for the pre-draft process and working with professional players in their off-season workouts.

    It is my goal to help coaches continue to develop their craft by providing resources and sharing thought.
